Although Adobe Lightroom might be the place to begin when editing your files, there is still an important role for Adobe Photoshop to play. Lightroom offers limited retouching capabilities, so that is something that most people prefer to do in Photoshop. The ability to select specific areas of a file is more refined in Photoshop, and the use of layers offers some flexibility in your workflow.
In this class, you will learn how to use Photoshop to complete the tasks that Lightroom doesn’t do as well:
• Setting up the Photoshop interface for editing photos vs. graphics
• Moving files from Lightroom to Photoshop and saving
• Retouching images using the correct tools and procedures
• Using the new AI capabilities
• Making selections using the correct tools and procedures
• Working with layers and masks
• Adding canvas to a photo
• Architectural transforms
The class will be taught over Zoom. It works very well. Student screens can be shared as well as the instructor’s screen. Photoshop is now licensed for $9.99/month from Adobe and comes with Lightroom as a part of the Photography Plan.
The class is limited to 7 participants.
Cancellation policy:
